In December we got a shelter puppy named Cindy Lou. We’ve only had her about 3 and a half months now, but even with such a short time frame, we’re at the point where it would be hard to imagine life without her! She’s so sweet and loving, and such fun to be around, and she’s been a great distraction from all the Covid news and mob violence and mass shootings and constant advertisements from personal injury lawyers! (I know that last one wasn’t as bad as the others, but it can get a bit annoying.)
I’m so glad God created dogs! I guess we would not have known what we were missing, just as I had no idea what I was missing until I brought Cindy Lou home, but dogs certainly make life more entertaining. From the times she gets scared of her own shadow, to the times she completely ties herself up in the leash, to even the times we have scratch marks from her claws when she jumps up to give us a hug! It’s all been fantastic. If you don’t have a dog, I would check in to getting one, because your stress level will go down(most times), your outlook will get rosier, and you’ll get to experience unconditional love. Thank you for reading my 86th blog.
