I decided this morning that I needed some inspiration from the Bible, but I didn’t know what passage I wanted to read, so I put my thumb into a random part of the Bible(I did cheat a little bit, because I made sure it was New Testament) and then opened it up and without looking put my pointer finger down on a random part of the page and then looked. I ended up on Hebrews 13:18-19 which says “Pray for us; we are sure that we have a clear conscience, desiring to act honorably in all things. I urge you all the more to do this, so that I may be restored to you very soon.”
This was a very special message in my life and in the age of Covid as well. If you change it to “Pray for (me); (I am) sure that (I) have a clear conscience, desiring to act honorably in all things,” it fits in with someone who knows they have made mistakes and done wrong in the past but is now working to do only right and then it also fits in with people who are starting to realize that vaccines and masks do work and do help and are ashamed of their old self-righteous doubts about them. We all want to be restored physically and/or emotionally with someone we wronged in the past. It starts with making sure we are doing the right thing in the now, and pray that those we wronged will be granted a forgiving heart. Thank you for reading my blog.
